The three of us were just hanging out one night watching The Lakers at his place in Taos. I made snacks and he and The Re Re played. He took pictures of the two of us, which, I fear, I will never see. He liked her. Here's the cool thing....Dennis Hopper thought she was cool, that's COOL. She was.

ReplyDeleteAhhhhh, you finally got it scanned---wonderful pic. I wish Dennis' agent would respond but you should try to contact his old buddy Dean Stockwell. He might know more. Aretha & Dennis were both so COOL. They are "Sleeping with Angels".

ReplyDeleteMan, oh, man, I know...It sucks, and Dennis was a great photographer. I can't call Stockwell and be like, "Uh, Dean, uh, it's been a while, but, uh, my dog died, and uh, can you send some pictures that you took of me when I was pregnant uh, and could you try to get some pictures that Dennis took of me with my dead dog too?" I don't know, now that I'm writing it, it sounds pretty good!
